Organic Matters is a company which offers Tree Surgery and Landscape services. We have separate specialized teams delivering tree surgery, hard & soft landscaping and garden maintenance services.

Based in the Lewes and Brighton area we undertake work in all parts of East and West Sussex, Surrey and West Kent. We have been established since 2001 and rely primarily on recommendation for our work.

Rest assured that whatever the service you wish to engage us in, you will have experienced, trained, polite and fully insured staff attending to your requirements. Our philosophy is that ‘You are only as good as your last job’.

Tree Surgery

All forms of tree surgery/tree care (arboricultural) services are performed by our qualified team. We hold the necessary certification from NPTC to perform felling, climbing and aerial rescue and work requiring operating chainsaws from a rope and harness. As such we can display the NPTC logo.

Our garden maintenance team can not only maintain your existing garden as it is, but can develop it over time. We call this progressive maintenance, as it will turn your garden towards the direction you want but does so over a longer period of time compared with landscaping projects.

Garden Clearance

If you prefer to tackle the majority of garden work yourself but need a fully equipped arbroricultural contractor for the clearance work, we can provide the service you need. We undertake clearance work for private householders, businesses and self employed gardeners.
